Network Member:

My career in the cannabis industry began in 2014. During this time I was hired by Vireo Health out of Minneapolis to help open the business as they were 1 of only 2 companies selected for the new medical cannabis program in Minnesota. We successfully opened dispensaries in Minnesota and went on to be awarded one of the 5 original licenses in New York state.  I worked as Director of Patient Services and was heavily involved in compliance, patient relations and dispensary management. Vireo is now a large cannabis company operating in 11 states.

After leaving Vireo in 2016, my family moved to Montana. I took a position as a Cannabis RN Specialist (yes, I’m a Registered Nurse as well) with a company, CannaKids out of California. I had the opportunity to provide cannabis medical guidance to families all over the world! Additionally, during this time, I worked as a Cannabis Consultant in Montana and assisted several companies finding locations, opening stores and other miscellaneous projects.

My network in the cannabis industry is robust. Through the years I’ve developed relationships throughout the world with those influential in the industry.  Below are links to some of my work.

I am currently a licensed Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty Northwest Montana and I specialize in the cannabis industry. I would be honored to help you buy or sell in the cannabis space!

State Cannabis Overview: Montana recently passed HB701 to implement the state’s adult use cannabis market. Currently the bill is sitting on the governor’s desk awaiting final approval. After that, the Department of Revenue will need to finalize a set of regulatory structures for the application process.

5/6/21 Update: Montana’s long road towards cannabis legalization began during the November 2020 election, when voters in the state passed initiative I-190 to legalize the possession and use of marijuana for adults over the age of 21, imposing a 20% tax on marijuana sales, requiring the Department of Revenue to develop rules to regulate marijuana businesses, and allowing for the resentencing or expungement of marijuana-related crimes.
