Pending Distance Requirement: No licensed establishment will be located within 500 feet of a school ground. Recreation or youth center, building in which religious services are conducted, or a correctional facility.

Tax Rates: Adult-use retail sales: Purchases are subject to a 16% cannabis excise tax in addition to a 5.6% statewide retail sales tax, bringing the total to 21.6%. Medical marijuana sales: Purchases are subject to a 6.6% state excise tax plus an additional 2-3% optional tax dictated by local municipalities.

Note: the distance measured must be from the public entrance of the cannabis establishment to the outer boundaries of the school grounds and youth centers; distance to religious services and correctional facility shall be measured as public entrance to public entrance
