Jon Chown earned his real estate license in 2017 to specifically work with cannabis growers and entrepreneurs. He lives in Monterey County, where he worked as a newspaper reporter and editor across two decades. As a journalist for 20+ years, Jon covered everything from fires, floods, earthquakes, City Council meetings, Sacramento politics and even the NFL. Jon grew up in Humboldt County and graduated from Humboldt State University, now Cal Poly Humboldt, with a degree in Journalism. He is married and has two grown children.
